Lately I’ve been craving Korean BBQ, so I revisited this spot in Woodbury after a long time — and here’s my fresh take! (No sponsorship, just sharing! 😊) 📍 Address: 6436 Irvine Blvd, Irvine, CA 92620 💰 Price per person: $50–80 Ambience: 8/10 – Everything’s nice except the ventilation is a bit high, so there’s some smoke lingering. Service: 9/10 – All meats are grilled for you by the staff, and service is super friendly! 👏🏼 Food: 8/10 – Way better than Honey Pig, in my opinion! This time we ordered a Combo for $85, which included: • 3 types of meat 🥩 • 1 soup 🍲 • 1 steamed egg 🥚 Plus, all the side dishes and salad you see in the photo are FREE — and refillable! 🍖 Meat Breakdown: • Thin Sliced Brisket: Not too oily or dry — just the right fat-to-lean ratio. Probably my favorite! • Two Short Ribs: One marinated (sweet flavor), one regular. Texture-wise, pretty similar — go for the marinated if you like sweeter tastes! 🥗 Free Side Dishes: All banchan, salad, and even the pancake are complimentary and refillable — no need to order extra veggies! 🥬 🍜 Cold Noodles: Lots of ice, very chewy noodles (you’ll need scissors to cut them!). Just okay — order only if you’re into that. 🦐 Seafood Pancake: Really tasty and HUGE — easily serves 4+ people. Packed with squid, shrimp, and green onions — savory and satisfying! 🥣 Soup & Steamed Egg: The combo includes a soup (pretty average) and steamed egg (quite nice!). And yes — even the two shrimp in the photo are free! Final Thoughts: Great service and food quality — above average for Irvine KBBQ spots. You don’t have to lift a finger, and the variety of free sides is a big plus!
