Is Bratislava boring?

Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, is rumored to be the most boring capital in Europe. If you think there are too few attractions to visit in the Old Town and the castle, why not head to the ruins of Devin Castle, just 10 km west of the city, near the border?😻😻😻 This is a favorite outdoor spot for locals. Located at the border between Austria and Slovakia, where the Danube and Morava rivers converge, this castle has been an important defensive structure since the time of Great Moravia. It was destroyed during the Napoleonic Wars, and during the Cold War, the ruins of the castle marked the "Iron Curtain" between the East and the West. The climb isn't too strenuous, so even those with less physical strength can easily manage it while enjoying the natural scenery and historical traces.😍😍😍 📍Location: Hrad Devín 🚗Transport: Take bus number 29 from the city center of Bratislava, and it will take about 20-25 minutes to get there. The castle is in District 101 and is covered by the day ticket. 💰Entrance Fee: 6 euros for adults, 3 euros for concessions (seniors/children/students). #Slovakia #Bratislava #Offbeat #Hidden #Lesser
