Island Flavors at TheWell 🏝️

Lulu Bar, a new addition to TheWell this year, offers a fusion of Asian and Hawaiian-Pacific flavors 🍹 During the weekdays, it’s almost empty if you go outside of meal times. They usually seat you on the second floor for a better view. The drink menu is quite interesting, giving you that instant island vacation vibe 🏖️ 🌟【Coconut Cooler】 A refreshing taste, like a mix of Calpis and coconut milk, 🌟【Hot Dog Bao】 It’s a lotus leaf bun with a small sweet sausage and a sprinkle of peanut crumble… 🌟【King Oyster Mushroom Skewer】 Grilled oyster mushrooms, a dish highly recommended online, but it’s hard to judge. My verdict? Not as good as the street food stalls… 🌟【Beef Tongue Skewer】 I expected thick-cut beef tongue, but it was thinly sliced and layered. The taste was just okay. 🌟【BBQ Crispy Half Duck】 The duck was decently roasted, crispy skin, and tender meat. But those side dishes were a bit of a joke – a few pieces of Korean kimchi, five thin slices of canned pineapple, three pieces of turmeric crispy bread… The meat sauce on the side was quite flavorful, though. I also tried to order the Curry Coconut Linguine… But it was sold out… Alright then 🧎🏻‍♀️ The atmosphere is nice, and the prices are decent, but the flavors of each dish were unexpected, one more disappointing than the last. It’s really not as good as the neighboring La Plume. #TreasureRestaurantShare #GlobalEatsSquad #AmbientDining #DiningCheckIn #Toronto #TorontoLife #TorontoDining #TorontoFood #TorontoEatsAndDrinks #TorontoTheWell
