It’s London, not SawadeeKa 😭 This Thai restaurant is really delicious
But it’s named Sawadika 🥳 I’ve discovered a new spot near UCL/UAL, and the menu even comes with a Chinese version! It’s close to Holborn tube station. Not only are the portions generous, but the taste is also fantastic! And❗️ the set lunch is perfect for two people, with 2 courses starting from 11.95💷 🍗Honey Glazed Chicken Wings - Crispy on the outside with a sweet honey glaze that’s not cloying, the meat inside is tender and juicy, with an excellent texture. 🍍Khao Pad Supparod - Authentic Thai pineapple fried rice. The huge half pineapple is the soul of this dish, with its natural sweet and sour flavor. The rice is fluffy and fragrant with curry powder, enhanced by the umami saltiness of fish sauce. Both visually appealing and delicious. 🦑Drunken Noodles - Super flavorful Thai-style spicy seafood stir-fried rice noodles. The sauce is a classic sweet and spicy Thai flavor, with a hint of freshness from the shrimp, squid, and mussels added to the noodles. 🦀Soft Shell Crab Pad Pong Karee - Spicy Thai curry stir-fried soft-shell crab. It’s spicier than the spicy fried rice noodles, but the crab meat is decent, and the texture is just right. If you can handle the spice, this is a must-order! The accompanying salad is perfect for cutting through the richness. Besides that, I also ordered the essential iced Thai milk tea, which is a bit sweet. 📍Sawadika Thai Restaurant 🚇 7-minute walk from Holborn tube station #LivingInTheUK #ThaiCuisine #ExoticFood #Eating #RestaurantRecommendations #FoodExploration #LondonLife #ThaiMilkTea #LondonThaiFood #LondonThaiCuisine #LondonThaiRestaurant #MustEatInLondon
