Italy's Wildlife Park: Parco Natura Viva 🐘🌍
A great day trip destination from Verona is the wildlife park Parco Natura Viva. The park is divided into two areas: a walking tour area and a drive-through safari area. We drove straight into the drive-through area after purchasing our tickets. After finishing our drive, we exited, parked our car in the parking lot 🅿️, and then proceeded directly to the walking tour area. The drive-through safari area features animals from the African savannah. Occasionally, animals would walk right past our vehicle. Towards the end of the drive, we entered the area housing the more dangerous animals, such as lions and leopards. The walking tour area is further divided into sections representing Asia, India, Europe, and the Americas. There's also a dinosaur area with various dinosaur models. Kids would likely enjoy this, and it's a great spot for photos too~ The weather was great on the day we visited, and even just taking a walk there lifted our spirits~ The basic facilities were all well-equipped, and the restrooms were clean and tidy. However, I strongly recommend bringing your own food. The queues were incredibly long (which might have been due to it being a holiday), the prices were on the higher side, and the food wasn't particularly tasty… A few tips: Avoid going on holidays! Avoid going on holidays! Avoid going on holidays! It's important enough to say three times. We went on Easter, and what should have been a half-hour drive turned into nearly two hours of traffic 😭😭 The restrooms near the parking lot tend to have longer queues, so you might want to head into the walking area first. If you plan to visit both areas of the park, make sure to go early in the morning; otherwise, you might run out of time. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit ✌️ #WildlifePark #ZooDayTrip
