Italy | Sorrento Sunset Restaurant 🌇 As Gentle as a Confession
On Italy's west coast, the sunsets are unbeatable, never tiring to watch. 🌇 The beauty of Sorrento needs no further words; after all, countless people have praised this stretch of the Amalfi Coast throughout history. I randomly found a well-reviewed place on g00gle🗺️, known for its stunning sea views, and made a reservation, arriving right at 8 PM for the sunset. It's a small cliffside roadside shop, and I was fortunate to witness an orange planet enveloped in shades of blue and purple. So gentle, it softens even the hardest heart and makes love linger on. Back to the topic, Ristorante Nastro D'oro offers more than just a million-dollar coastline view; the food is impressive, and the service is the epitome of classic Italian hospitality. The elderly gentleman would present the fresh catch before taking your order, suggesting the best cooking methods. He would gently inquire if it's time for the next course just as you finish each dish. He would politely attend to the ladies, offering sincere compliments like, "Would you like me to take a photo? Because even though the sunset is beautiful, you would make it a hundred times more beautiful." Alright, I've been lost in Italian sweet talk for the 101st time. 😱 Perhaps the view was just too enchanting. A little wine made me dizzy. The lampada twinkled like stars✨, the tovaglia gently touched me, and the frigorifero opened its arms to offer a glass of limoncello. I was full, patted my stomach, and swallowed the "Ti voglio bene" on the tip of my tongue, only managing to say ciao ciao. I said hello and also goodbye👋. I really want to tell you why I love watching clouds and sunsets—they are so captivating, like someone I can't have. There's a sunset every day, just like there are thousands of people in the world, but the one you meet, the one you remember, is unique. So I want to watch the countless yet unique sunsets with you. I never feel that the setting sun is beautiful only because it's near dusk. Instead, I find the afterglow infinitely gentle, forgetting the scorching heat, the rainy days, and the escapism and helplessness of reality. The setting sun means he will come back tomorrow: I hope to see you again. I want to let my worries sink with the sun into the horizon and the sea. I just want to stay drunk in this moment and never wake up. So, when I say I want to watch the sunset with you, it means I want to be with you. I miss you so much. #DocumentingTravelFood #WantToRecordThisMoment #ThisTemplateIsSomething #Sunset #Sunset #AmalfiCoast #Amalfi #Sunset
