ive into the Depth of Icelandic Cuisine!

DIf You Don’t Eat, It’s Like You Haven’t Been Here! Adventurous Eating Experience +1️⃣ From the beginning of our trip, my friend was eager to try some quirky meats. We’ve had horse meat and such, and discovered that Reykjavik even has a place where you can eat whale meat. The restaurant is located in a small alley, with an ambiance super conducive to dating! The environment is fantastic. The menu is known for its quirky meats, haha. 🐳 Grilled Whale Steak It was too adventurous, so I only dared to take a small bite. Only the outside was cooked, the inside was still a bit raw. It tastes a lot like beef, but with a strange fishy taste. 🦜 Grilled Puffin Something you’d expect to buy as a souvenir from various gift shops, ended up on the dining table. The meat is soft and tender, also a bit fishy, but the texture is on the softer side. 🐎 Horse Meat House Tataki It has a sour taste, accompanied by a sauce like oil and vinegar. I only had a little bit, not a big fan kkk. The lamb chops and beef were well-cooked in terms of doneness! But it could be tastier, the regular meats are slightly outshined by the quirky ones. Overall, the experience was very fulfilling~ I didn’t expect that a little bit of adventurous meat would leave the whole table full. #Iceland #IcelandTravel #IcelandTrip #IcelandBlackBeach #IcelandRoadTrip #IcelandGuide #WhaleMeat #DeerMeat #HorseMeat #LambMeat
