July holiday in Japan is on! I'll be sharing my travel guide slowly. I've planned a day in Kyoto to visit Uji and Nara, covering all the main attractions in one day, which I think is a perfect day trip. Here's a super detailed route and transportation guide for you all. π The times below are approximate, and you can adjust them according to your preferences. I think this schedule allows you to enjoy each place well. I've also marked everything in English for easy map searching. π 9:20, Kyoto Station β Uji Station, take the JR to Uji, local train takes 30 minutes, express train takes 20 minutes, this time ensures arrival before 10 AM. π΅ 9:50, Nakamura Tokichi Honten, line up before 10 AM to get a number, ensuring the shortest waiting time. π 11:30, ByΕdΕ-in Temple, head to Uji's most famous spot after eating, Β₯700. 12:15, Uji River - Uji Bridge - Uji Shrine - Ujikami Shrine. π΅ 1:00, Itoh Kyuemon, grab a matcha ice cream on the way back to the station. π 13:30, Uji Station β Nara Station, return to Uji Station and take the train to Nara, express train takes 30 minutes, local train takes 45 minutes. π 14:00, Nara Station β Kasuga Taisha Honden, right out of JR is the bus stop, take bus 77 straight to Kasuga Taisha. 14:30, Kasuga Taisha,after getting off the bus. 15:00, Mount Wakakusa, follow the signs to get there, Β₯150, buy deer biscuits to feed the deer on the mountain and enjoy the city view, it's stunning. π 16:00, Nigatsudo, continue walking along the path. 16:30, TΕdai-ji, make sure to visit Todai-ji before it closes at 5 PM, Β₯800. #Japan #JapanFreeTravel #KyotoTravel #Nara #NaraDeer #NaraFood #Uji #UjiMatcha #TravelPhotography #TravelGuide
