If you've visited Tokyo multiple times and are looking for a special old-town city walk, I highly recommend strolling through Shibamata in Tokyo's Adachi Ward. 🌟 Here, you can leisurely savor traditional Japanese sweets, explore vintage snack shops, and spend a whole afternoon discovering the charm of this area. 🌟🌿 The featured image is from the excellent Japanese photographer @JunFei_TongXue. ✅ Sharing my Shibamata City Walk route: Take a photo with "Torajiro" in front of Shibamata Station ➡️Enter the Taishakuten Approach ➡️ Visit traditional snack shops on the Taishakuten Approach ➡️Enjoy Japanese traditional sweets on the Taishakuten Approach ➡️Stop by Takagiya, an old-established shop ➡️Visit Shibamata Taishakuten ➡️ Admire the Taisho-era architecture at Yamamoto-Tei ➡️Explore the Torajiro Memorial Hall 🌟🌿 1⃣️ Take a photo with Torajiro in front of Shibamata Station! 🔹 As you exit Shibamata Station, you'll see a bronze statue of a man carrying a briefcase and wearing a gentleman's hat. This is Torajiro, the protagonist of the Japanese TV drama "Otokonokoiwa Katsute Nai." 🎭 🌟🌿 2⃣️ Nostalgic and cozy Taishakuten Approach for eating and playing 🔹 This 200-meter-long nostalgic shopping street is filled with shops exuding a rich Showa atmosphere. 🌟🌿 It's perfect for taking your time and snapping photos. 📸 #Tokyo #ShibamataCityWalk 🌟🌿
