Japan Travel Guide โค Akihabara One-Day Tour ๐ŸŽŒ

Akihabara, a must-visit place for otaku, has been firmly labeled with "otaku" and "anime". It's a pity that many people skip it because they feel it's not related to them! Actually, even if you're a beginner, you can definitely check out Akihabara! ๐Ÿš€ ๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿข Exploring and Eating, Becoming a Little Train in No Time Akihabara has many photogenic spots, huge anime billboards, a vast array of figures, endless claw machines, and various adult magazines, etc. Even if you have no connection with "otaku" or ACG, you can capture unique scenery for your social media. Plus, from the subway station, there are various pastries and snacks that are so visually appealing you won't be able to resist buying them... ๐Ÿ›๏ธ Grab Some Electronics While You're At It Akihabara is filled with electronics stores offering a wide range of products at reasonable prices. If you know a bit about the market, you can bring back some necessary electronics! Of course, if you're not very knowledgeable, it's best not to follow the crowd as the waters can be deep. Sometimes, it's not that the prices are cheap, but the unique items available here that you can't find back home that are attractive. ๐Ÿงšโ€โ™€๏ธ Maids Greeting You on the Street How could the holy land of otaku be without cosplay? We encountered a lovely group of cosplayers just by crossing the street, and there were also super cute girls in maid outfits inviting customers for coffee. Just looking at them makes you not want to move... ๐Ÿฅš Never Say No to Gashapon Machines In China, gashapon machines usually cost 30 yuan per turn, but in Akihabara, there are a variety of machines that are both diverse and affordable, ranging from 200 to 600 yen. They can completely satisfy all your needs. I got two cute coin purses and even got two little hats for my cat! The coins can't be exchanged back to RMB when I go home, so I might as well use them all for gashapon! ๐Ÿœ A Small Dining Recommendation We had lunch at a ramen shop called ใ€Chicken Kingใ€‘, and it was surprisingly delicious! The black pepper ramen was so good it brought tears to my eyes. It's a typical ramen shop where you order at the machine and then hand it to the counter. Price: About 60 yuan per person Location: 1-3-4 Uchi-Kanda, Chiyoda-ku, Third Nagashima Building 1F (You can find it on Google Maps by searching for Chicken King Ramen, it's in an alley) ๐Ÿ“ Akihabara Information Transportation: Take the Hibiya Line to Akihabara Station Location: ใ€’101-0021 Tokyo, Chiyoda City, Uchi-Kanda, 1-chomeโˆ’15โˆ’4, Japan โš ๏ธ Reminders There are people in Akihabara who work in certain service industries, as well as maid cafes mentioned above. Try to stay away as it's easy to be taken advantage of. It's best to visit Akihabara during the day, as some places can be unsafe at night. Be mindful of what you photograph to avoid unnecessary conflicts. Just look at the small magazines and don't bring them back as they are not allowed.
