🗼 Japan Travel Guide 🗼
🌆 Day 1: Touchdown in Tokyo Checked into a hotel in Ueno, dropped off our luggage, and headed straight to Ueno's night market to experience Tokyo's nightlife. 🏯 Day 2: Senso-ji Temple, Akihabara, Tokyo Skytree Since our hotel was in Ueno, Senso-ji Temple was just a stone's throw away. We woke up early the next day and rushed to Senso-ji! Took advantage of the fewer crowds to draw a fortune and buy an omamori, feeling the faint scent of incense. In the afternoon, we moved on to Akihabara, a paradise for anime fans! However, many figures and limited edition items are really expensive—non-hardcore otaku should just come for the experience! In the evening, we visited the Tokyo Skytree, overlooking the entire city from the 350-meter high observation deck, and the shopping mall below is also a great place to wander. 🗻 Day 3: Mount Fuji On the third day, we took a bus from Shinjuku Station to Mount Fuji. At Kawaguchiko Lake, we couldn't see the mountain at first, but the clouds cleared by noon! Mount Fuji is indeed beautiful. Both Kawaguchiko and Yamanakako are fantastic (avoid Oyakunogoi, it's not worth it). We transferred buses and the bullet train from Kawaguchiko to Atami for accommodation, and from there, we could head to Izu without returning to Tokyo, saving us from any backtracking! 🏛️ Day 4: Atami Atami's Kurotsudo Shrine and art museums are a must-visit! You'll definitely not regret it, experiencing Japanese-style romance. 🌄 Day 5: Izu The leisurely pace of Izu is enchanting. Although there were no cherry blossoms when we went, Oshima, Shimoda Coast, and the Cactus Zoo are places you'd regret missing. In the evening, soaking in the hotel's rooftop hot spring while listening to the waves, the urge to quit your job might reach its peak. 🏰 Day 6: Kamakura Kamakura is a must-visit for Slam Dunk fans. Walking in front of Kamakura High School, it feels like scenes from the anime are. The sea breeze from Enoshima gently blows, taking away all worries. 🛍️ Day 7: Shinjuku, Tokyo Tower, Shibuya The sole purpose of returning to Tokyo was shopping. Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza—everything is so affordable. Tokyo Tower and the pilgrimage to the locations from "Your Name" are also must-visits. 👋 Day 8: Farewell Tokyo, Back to Reality For those who want more tips, follow and leave a comment!
