ποΈ Fourth Stop: Tora-san Memorial Hall and Yamada Yoji Museum A must-visit spot for travelers to Kibana, even if you haven't seen the movie "Tora-san's Story," it's recommended to explore the Showa-era ambiance of Kibana and experience the nostalgic atmosphere. Opposite the Tora-san Memorial Hall is the museum of the renowned Japanese director Yamada Yoji. π΅ Fifth Stop: Yamamoto-tei, Where Scenery Complements Tea The beautiful garden courtyard composed of lush trees, the simple and elegant traditional Japanese-style room, is perfectly matched with the bitter taste of traditional Japanese matcha and beautiful wagashi (Japanese confectionery). πΏ Sixth Stop: Kibana Park & Yanagiri Ferry (Yanagiri no Watashi) The park boasts vast lawns and excellent viewing spots to enjoy the beautiful of the Edo River. Visitors can take a pleasure boat and appreciate the picturesque river scenery. π Seventh Stop: Taishakuten-zekyo-ji Temple The spiritual center of the Kibana area, the most worthwhile sight in the temple is the exquisite work of a Japanese master carver surrounding the exterior of the Taishakuten Hall, and the uniquely Japanese garden landscaping often leaves visitors in awe. π‘ Eighth Stop: Snack and Stroll at Rakugan Shopping Street The street is lined with many shops that have a century of history. Here are a few that left a deep impression on me: γTakagi-ya Old Shopγ The most famous delicacy of this century-old local shop is the mugwort mochi (mochi made with mugwort), which is free of food additives, not overly sweet, and filled with a rich aroma. #JapaneseCulture #JapanTravelGuide #OffTheBeatenPath #CulturalExperience #JapanTravelTips
