Japan Travelogue | Ueno Park: A Blend of Culture and Nature π
This time in Tokyo, I only had three days. One day for Disney, one day for Ikebukuro, and where should I go on the last day? πΈπ There were still so many places on my travel list that I wanted to visit (Shibuya, Ginza, Shinjuku, Akihabara...). I thought, since I was already staying near Asakusa, it would feel like a missed opportunity if I didn't explore the nearby areas and instead traveled to farther places. I decided to save those other spots for my next visit. πΈπ After considering between Akihabara and Ueno Park, I chose the less commercially dense option as the final stop of my trip to Japan. As soon as I arrived at the park entrance, I knew I made the right choice. The park is huge and beautiful, and just walking along the paths made me feel relaxed. π³ πΈ Flowers There are so many flowers, especially hydrangeas! When I was researching before my trip, I rarely saw anyone mention hydrangeas in Ueno Park, so I highly recommend them! πΈπThere are also lots of lotus flowers covering the lake. It was late June, and unfortunately, the lotuses hadn't bloomed yetβI only saw a few buds. (I just checked some information and saw that the main street is lined with cherry blossoms in spring!) πΈ πΈπ #UenoPark #TokyoTravel #NatureAndCulture πβ¨
