Japanese Dessert Shop 🌸

After days of endless rain in New York, the sun finally came out! ☀️ 🌸 When the weather is this nice, you just have to get out and explore. So, I headed to this Japanese dessert shop in Brooklyn that I’ve been meaning to visit for a while—Burrow. 68 Jay St #119, Brooklyn, NY 11201 🍃 The shop’s hours are Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 2pm, which isn’t very convenient for those of us with regular work schedules. But the hype is real—everyone who’s been here raves about it. 🌊 I got there just before 11am and found that the selection wasn’t very big. Later, I learned that I arrived too early—many of their products, especially the cakes, hadn’t been baked yet. The staff recommended coming back after 12pm. I tried: 🎢 Strawberry scone (a bit sour) Raspberry cookie (very sour) Rhubarb almond tart (so sour it still makes my mouth water) 🍃 Maybe it’s just my personal preference for sweeter treats, but only the strawberry scone was somewhat acceptable to me. I’ve heard that their cakes are the real stars, but I had to rush back home, so I’ll definitely come again next time. #NewYork #Brooklyn #JapaneseDesserts 🌇
