Japanese food in New York--DomoDomo
—————— 🔆Restaurant Name: DomoDomo 🌿Ambience: I often visit the one in Jersey City. The space is large, spacious, and bright. It's located right next to the Hudson River, so after a satisfying meal, you can take a leisurely walk by the river and enjoy the view of the World Trade Center. 🍽Food: 🍣 Top 1: Hand rolls - The set menu offers a choice of 3, 4, or 5 pieces. My favorite salmon is rich in oily aroma, the eel has a smoky fragrance, and the scallops are sweet and tender. The combination of rice and seafood is just right, and the nori retains its crispy texture due to being made to order. 🍶 Sake: How can you enjoy hand rolls without sake? This sake set comes with three cups, each with a progressively stronger flavor. I prefer the level 2, which has a subtle sweetness. 🍱 Miso black cod set: I'm not usually a fan of cod as it can easily become overcooked, but the cod here is grilled to a tender perfection. The surface seems to be brushed with sauce and then grilled, giving it a sweet flavor. The honey mustard sauce underneath is also a great addition. 🍱 Bulgogi set: Stir-fried beef with mushrooms, quite ordinary, but I love the croquette that comes with the set, haha. 🍚 Grilled bacon fried rice: This is my friend's favorite. They order it every time we visit, and it's perfect for those moments when you need a little extra to satisfy your hunger. 📍140 W Houston St, New York, NY 10012 —————— #New York#DOMODOMO New York#food diary#Japanese food
