Jerusalem Artichoke is So Delicious!

💰 Average cost per person: 35 euros I visited a Michelin Guide-listed restaurant in the 13th district for lunch on a weekday and noticed that the average age of the neighboring customers was generally older, but the place was quite popular, with the first floor completely full and customers upstairs as well. The front desk had only one server who seemed a bit overwhelmed. They offer a lunch set menu at an average of 28 euros per person, as well as some a la carte dishes that are slightly more expensive. ✨ Lunch Set Menu For the appetizer, I chose the poached egg, which wasn't particularly special; the sauce was a bit salty. For the main course, I selected the daily catch, which was colin (hake) fish. The fish itself was quite flavorless and relied on the sauce, similar to many fusion restaurants' approach, so it wasn't very surprising. The dessert of the day was a fusion of fruit, nuts, and sorbet, which had a very refreshing taste. ✨ Roasted Chicken (Volaille Rôtie) It was essentially pan-roasted chicken breast. Given the limitations of the ingredient, one can't expect the tenderness of a chicken leg meat, for that you'd have to look at the supreme de volaille method. But the side dish of Jerusalem artichoke was a pleasant surprise! I didn't expect that the roasted Jerusalem artichoke paired with garlic slices would be so delicious! #Paris #ParisianFood #FoodExploration #FrenchCuisine #Michelin
