Jing Li | Cozy Winter Feast ๐ถ
Tried Jing Li, a Chinese restaurant near my home, and every dish was memorable! We started with a smooth sake ๐ถ, perfect with the flavorful courses. The appetizer was a refreshing eggplant with century egg ๐ฅ, garlic, and cilantroโvery appetizing! The steamed egg with crab roe ๐ฆ was rich and creamy, with a silky texture. The lamb stew with radish ๐ was heartwarming, with tender meat and sweet, broth-soaked radishes. The seared beef short rib ๐ฅฉ had a caramelized exterior and juicy inside, with a sweet glaze. The braised pork belly with abalone ๐ was melt-in-your-mouth tender, paired with bouncy abalone in a savory-sweet sauce. The beer-braised duck ๐ฆ was aromatic and slightly spicy, with a rounded broth thanks to the beer. The green peppercorn fish ๐ featured silky slices and a bright, numbing spice that wasnโt overpowering. We also enjoyed stir-fried water spinach ๐ฅฌ for freshness and a fragrant black truffle fried rice ๐ to wrap up the meal. A truly satisfying dinnerโgreat for gatherings or family visits! ๐27-35 Jackson Ave, Long Island City, NY 11101 Like this? ๐ Follow for more NYC food guides! #NYCFood #NYCEats #NYCLife #NYCDining ๐๐ฅขโจ๐๐๐ผ๐ฅ
