Jing Li | Cozy Winter Feast 🍶
Tried Jing Li, a Chinese restaurant near my home, and every dish was memorable! We started with a smooth sake 🍶, perfect with the flavorful courses. The appetizer was a refreshing eggplant with century egg 🥚, garlic, and cilantro—very appetizing! The steamed egg with crab roe 🦐 was rich and creamy, with a silky texture. The lamb stew with radish 🐑 was heartwarming, with tender meat and sweet, broth-soaked radishes. The seared beef short rib 🥩 had a caramelized exterior and juicy inside, with a sweet glaze. The braised pork belly with abalone 🐖 was melt-in-your-mouth tender, paired with bouncy abalone in a savory-sweet sauce. The beer-braised duck 🦆 was aromatic and slightly spicy, with a rounded broth thanks to the beer. The green peppercorn fish 🐟 featured silky slices and a bright, numbing spice that wasn’t overpowering. We also enjoyed stir-fried water spinach 🥬 for freshness and a fragrant black truffle fried rice 🍚 to wrap up the meal. A truly satisfying dinner—great for gatherings or family visits! 📍27-35 Jackson Ave, Long Island City, NY 11101 Like this? 👍 Follow for more NYC food guides! #NYCFood #NYCEats #NYCLife #NYCDining 🍜🥢✨😋👌🏼🔥
