Joshua Tree National Park 🌵 An Encounter with Nature
If you love trees in California, you’ll definitely fall in love with the scenery of Joshua Tree National Park. It’s a typical desert landscape, filled with Joshua trees and cacti 🌵, along with distinctive rocky hills. So, here’s a heartfelt recommendation to: Admire the trees 🌵 Climb the rocks 🪨 Watch the sunset 🌅 Besides tree-gazing, rock climbing was a real surprise activity for me. First, make sure you’re wearing comfortable and stylish activewear with comfortable shoes, then, just start climbing when you see a rock. It’s true that the steep rocks can be intimidating at first, but if you conquer your fears and climb to the top, lying under the sun or stars, the feeling of connection with nature is completely different. We left from near DTLA at 8 AM sharp, perfectly avoiding rush hour, and stayed until after 6 PM, witnessing both the sunset and a sky full of stars. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a chance to buy souvenirs from the shop this time, but that’s okay, memories are important too. 🫶🏻 ⛰️ Some extra tips: Make sure to download an offline map before driving into the park, even though you’ll get a map upon entry. Highly recommend the Keys View for sunset viewing. Check the sunset time for the day and arrive early to see the sky painted with all sorts of colors 🎨 Bring plenty of food and water; climbing requires energy. The park is very wild, and so are the restrooms – they’re scarce and quite rustic. #JoshuaTreeNationalPark #joshuatree #JoshuaTreeTrip #LosAngelesTravel #USNationalParks #USRockClimbing #LosAngelesDayTrip #LosAngelesGetaway #TheAllureOfClimbing #ClimbUndefinedMountains
