Kamakura's Hidden Temple Tour During the Autumn Leaves (3)🍁
🍁 Jōchi-ji The fourth of the Kamakura Five Mountains, this famous temple is marked by its Tang Dynasty-style bell tower gate, built amidst a cedar forest. It's also a renowned spot for autumn leaves, especially around the main gate and the stone steps. 🌲 🌟✨ The simple and unadorned appearance of the temple captures the essence of old Kamakura in autumn. It's also connected to the Genjiyama Hiking Trail, which is perfect for a leisurely walk among the red leaves. 🍂 🍁 Jōju-ji Though not very well-known, Jōju-ji's autumn leaves are a delightful surprise. The scenery is so picturesque that it feels like an ukiyo-e painting, making it my favorite spot during the autumn leaves season. 🎨 🌟✨ With its deep bamboo groves and vibrant red and orange maple leaves, it's one of the few Kamakura temples where you can quietly enjoy the beauty of the red leaves in a serene courtyard. 🌿✨ #Kamakura #JapaneseAutumnLeaves 🌟✨
