The Kamakura Daibutsu is a Buddha statue located in Kotoku-in Temple, and it is a significant symbol of ancient Kamakura, designated as a National Treasure of Japan. ๐ฏ โจ This bronze statue dates back to the Kamakura period in 1252. The Great Buddha stands approximately 11.3 meters tall and weighs a staggering 121 tons, making it the second-largest bronze Buddha in Japan, after the one at Nara's Todaiji Temple. ๐๐ฟ ๐๐ In the evening, I spent ยฅ119 at the convenience store on snacks. That night, I checked into the Omaezaki Hotel, ๐จ ๐ which is the filming location for the movie "Kikujiro no Natsu" starring Kitano Takeshi.
