Kelowna | A Hidden Gem Winery Restaurant You Can't Miss

As we all know, Mission Hill Winery is a must-visit in Kelowna. But this time, besides Mission Hill, we discovered a more underrated spot—Martin's Lane Winery. The architectural design is just as impressive, with a more modern twist! Pro tip: Most wineries now require advance reservations🍇. Since we didn’t book ahead and there was a private event that day, we couldn’t tour the winery. Instead, we checked out their restaurant and tasting room nearby: 🍷 Cedar Creek Winery Three glass houses divide into two tasting areas and a restaurant. Wine tasting is available until 6 PM. The restaurant serves afternoon tea before 5 PM and switches to dinner after (reservations recommended). Note: The tasting room and restaurant are next to each other, but to reach Martin’s Lane Winery, you’ll need to go down and up a small hill. 🍽️ Home Block Perched on a hillside, the restaurant features a semi-open deck with stunning views. Sitting by the fireplace, sipping wine, and soaking in the scenery—pure relaxation! The afternoon tea menu is limited (sadly, the dish I wanted wasn’t available🙂↔️), but it’s perfect for drinks and light bites. Must-Try Dishes & Wines 🦑 Crispy Squid 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Surprisingly the best fried squid ever—perfectly crispy with a house-made dipping sauce. 🥗 Italian Burrata 🌟🌟🌟 Decent but not outstanding. The sauce wasn’t my favorite, but the produce was fresh. 🍝 Pasta 🌟🌟🌟🌟 A solid choice—simple but well-executed. 🍷 Pinot Noir & Pinot Gris 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Smooth and easy-drinking, pairing well with the food. Vibes > Everything The real highlight? The panoramic views from the semi-open patio.
