Kengo Kuma’s Fairy Tale World in Denmark
🧚♂️ “What Andersen conveyed to us is that even in the mundane everyday life, we can chase and realize our dreams. The museum attempts to showcase that dream, as Andersen described, of suddenly seeing a larger universe from a small world.” — Kengo Kuma 🌌 Kuma has crafted a real-life fairy tale town where the indoor and outdoor spaces are filled with elements of fairy tales, offering a healing experience for adults within the museum’s enchanting atmosphere. 🏰✨ Put on your headphones and immerse yourself in Andersen’s fairy tale world. The headphones automatically recognize the visitor’s location for commentary, sometimes it’s Andersen himself, narrating his joys and sorrows, and sometimes transforming into characters from his stories, guiding visitors into a wonderful and happy fairy tale kingdom. 🎧🧙♂️ Stand in front of the mirror, put on the emperor’s new clothes, wave your hand, and feel like the proud emperor yourself; 👑🫣 Press a button, light the match in the little match girl’s hand, feel her joy and contentment, and sigh at her sad fate when the match goes out. 🪔😢 The museum is located in Odense, Denmark. It’s about a one-and-a-half-hour train ride from Copenhagen Central Station, with round-trip train tickets costing over 700 DKK (quite expensive, huh). 🚂💸 The museum is open as usual on Mondays. The admission price is 165 DKK. The museum provides headphones with Chinese commentary. 🗓️🎙️ #MustVisitMuseum #ThisTemplateHasSomething #MuseumCheckInChallenge #HappyMomentsInDailyLife #Andersen #HansChristianAndersenMuseum #AndersenFairyTales #Denmark #Odense #KengoKuma #ThisTemplateHasSomething
