🌟 Kobe | Promise Me You'll Read This Guide Before Visiting Kobe,
I've spent my 5th year in Kobe and still adore this Western retro city! Kobe isn't large, but its commercial areas and famous brand streets are easy to navigate. The architecture ranges from Baroque, Mediterranean, to American styles, and the streets are clean and orderly. Compared to the hustle and bustle of Kyoto and Osaka, Kobe is really chill and comfortable! With mountains at its back and the sea in front, the climate is also pleasant~ Here are some experiences I'd like to share with you all~ 🚌 Transportation From Osaka: The most convenient way → Take the Shin-Kaisoku from JR Osaka Station towards Sannomiya 💰420 (Shin-Kaisoku takes 21min with only 3 stops, passing by the beautiful Osaka Bay sea view) 🔺 You can reach Kobe Sannomiya Station by Hanshin, Hankyu, and JR lines! However, the Sannomiya Stations for each line are not at the same location. 🏨 Accommodation Stay near Sannomiya or Motomachi, as it's convenient for travel and shopping. 🍏 Top 10 Things to Do in Kobe for a 1-Day City Walk: ❶ Pray for love at Ikuta Shrine ❷ Visit the "Ijinkan" at the end of the slope ❸ Enjoy shopping at Daimaru ❹ Experience modern and historical vibes in the old residential area ❺ Walk and eat Chinese cuisine in Nankinmachi ❻ Stroll through Kobe's first shopping street ❼ Overlook Kobe's cityscape from Kobe Port ❽ Shop while enjoying the sea breeze at Harborland ❾ Enjoy leisure time in a sophisticated café ❶⓿ Taste the melt-in-your-mouth Kobe beef 🪩 Introduction to Attractions in the City • Ikuta Shrine, the origin of Kobe and one of Japan's oldest shrines, known for matchmaking blessings • Kitano Ijinkan, a street with beautiful photo spots, featuring European-style houses on the hillside, once the sites of consulates and former residences of foreigners (recommend visiting the Italian Hall, Ben no Ie, and the Mysterious Consulate) • Nankinmachi, a famous Chinatown, with gates named after Xi'an and Chang'an, come for the authentic roast duck and soup dumplings • Daimaru, the best mall to shop in Kobe!
