Koganei Park
๐ข๐There's an Edo Period-themed architectural cluster within the park, like a garden within a garden. Each building has its own unique style and charm, and you can take off your shoes and step inside to get up close and personal. ๐ ๐ฟ I couldn't stop clicking my camera; it was so satisfying! ๐ ๐ข๐The insects made from yarn are scattered all over the garden, and there are so many varieties. They're incredibly lifelike and adorable, as if they were designed by Hayao Miyazaki himself. ๐ฟ ๐ ๐ฟ The park itself is super, super huge! It feels like a two-bus-stop walk from east to west. ๐ข๐My friend and I even bought some meat buns from a little shop in the park, and they were gigantic! ๐ฅข The park is free to enter, but the Edo Period mini-garden costs 400 yen for admission and has operating hours. ๐ ๐ฟ We took the "Kichijoji 73" bus from Kichijoji JR Station to the park's east entrance. ๐ข๐When we left, we took the "Taka 33" bus from the park's west entrance to Musashino-Koganei JR Station to catch the Chuo Line. The bus weaved through narrow streets lined with little shops and pedestrians, giving off a very lively vibe. ๐ ๐ ๐ฟ I've already decided which park to visit next time I go to Tokyo! ๐ #Tokyo #JapanTravel #TokyoTravel #KoganeiPark ๐
