One of the must-visit attractions in Hawaii, with 16 different tours to book, offering loads of fun! It’s great for families with kids too. Our group of five experienced the UTV Raptor Tour, and boy, was it dirty! Whether it’s worth it depends on the person; our driver went wild splashing through the water, getting everyone as dirty as can be, and he thought it was totally worth it. I enjoyed the beautiful scenery with a nose full of dust and dirt, which was definitely a unique Hawaiian experience. 💵 Price: We booked the 2-Hour UTV Raptor Tour Adults $157.02 Children (5-12 years old) $78.48 🕑 Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday 7:30 AM - 6 PM This tour is only bookable from 8 AM - 3:30 PM 🅿️ Parking: The ranch has a free parking lot. 📝 Tour Itinerary: ▶️ You basically need to book this tour online in advance to secure a spot. Once you arrive at the ranch, head to the counter to check in and exchange your ticket. It’s recommended to arrive 30 minutes early as the ticket booth may have a long queue. ▶️ After exchanging your ticket, gather at your designated tour location at the specified time. Drivers must have a driver’s license (there can be two drivers). Everyone needs to sign a waiver. Then, pick up your safety helmet ⛑️ and goggles 🥽 and wait for the group to assemble. There’s an instructional video to watch before setting off. ▶️ Let’s go! ▶️ We made about five or six stops for photos along the way. ▶️ At the end, the guide might ask if everyone wants to take an extra loop; it’s up to the group’s preference. ⚠️ Caution: Remember to apply sunscreen. Even though the vehicle has a roof, two hours in the sun can still be quite intense. You’ll really be a mess after this tour – it’s incredibly dirty! You’ll be covered in dust and dirt, with your nostrils filled with gray and soil. If you’re planning to do this, don’t schedule anything else afterward; you’ll need to go straight back to the hotel for a shower. If it rains, it’s not just dust you’ll be dealing with, but mud too! Be prepared with a raincoat and mask just in case.
