🌊 Kyoto's Seaside 🌊 Venice of Japan!
Kyoto's Iga-cho, known as Japan's "Venice," is hailed as the most dreamy little fishing village in the country. Half on the sea and half on land, with its transparent and beautiful ocean 🌊 surrounded by lush green mountains ⛰️, it's a small fishing village with few tourists and no commercial tint. There are also representative Japanese-style funaya (boat house) buildings. The natural scenery that can only be experienced in Iga-cho, go and check out the real world of Hayao Miyazaki's comics. 🚌: Take the hourly Tango Bus from Miyazu Station or Amanohashidate Station on the "Iga-Kamuroto" line and get off at the "Iga" bus stop. Walk for 1 minute and rent a bicycle at the nearby Iga Sightseeing Information Center. Tourist route: 📍 Cycle, walk, and take beautiful photos along the coastline. 📍 Pass by INECAFE, a café with huge floor-to-ceiling windows, where you can watch the sea view through the windows or sit outside and bask in the sunlight while watching the ocean. 📍 Cycle to the Funaya Group Observation Deck to overlook Iga Port and see the Iga Bay Funaya from another perspective. 📍 Take the Iga Bay Cruise to feed the seagulls from the boat. It is recommended to combine it with a trip to Amanohashidate. After Amanohashidate, take the bus directly from Amanohashidate Station to Iga.
