LA | Warm & Cozy Korean Family-Style Dining 🍲
As the weather cools down, nothing hits the spot like comforting Korean food. This family-run spot serves a rich chicken soup that warms you from the inside out, and their cheesy galbi tang (beef short rib stew) is just as satisfying. 🥩 Cheesy Galbi Tang (Beef Short Rib Stew) The beef short ribs were tender and flavorful, smothered in stretchy, melted cheese. Each bite was pure comfort! The stew also included chewy rice cakes and sweet pumpkin. The portion was just right for 3–4 people to share. 🍲 Creamy Chicken Soup (with Rice or Soybean Broth) The chicken soup was incredibly fragrant and soothing. The broth had a velvety texture, as if rice or soybeans had been blended into it, and the chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender. We finished every last drop! 🫓 Scallion & Seafood Pancake Packed with generous chunks of squid and fresh scallions, this pancake was crispy, savory, and utterly delicious. 🐟 Pan-Fried Fish The fish arrived sizzling, with a thin, crispy skin and tender, flaky flesh. The natural oils had rendered beautifully, making each bite aromatic and satisfying. Best enjoyed hot! After a bowl of warm soup and a slice of savory pancake, we left feeling completely content. A perfect meal for a crisp autumn day in LA! 📍 Located in a commercial area of Chino, just a short drive from Chicha San Chen—great for a post-meal bubble tea run. 👩💻 By day, I’m a data scientist in tech; by night, a foodie sharing hidden gems across LA and the Bay.
