OMG, I think I just found my new favorite Korean food spot! This place is so good, I might as well set up a tent outside and live there. Seriously, I’ve been back SEVEN weeks in a row. SEVEN. That’s like a committed relationship level of love.
💛The seafood pancake LIFE-CHANGING. It’s crispy, it’s smoky, it’s everything you’ve ever wanted in a pancake that isn’t drowning in syrup. And the dipping sauce? Chef’s kiss. I’d drink it if that wasn’t socially unacceptable
Now for my soup lovers 💛 Dried Pollock Soup it’s great for hangovers, but honestly, it’s so good I’d drink it sober, tipsy, or even upside down.
💛Monkfish Soup Sweet and delicate, like a warm hug in a bowl. Who knew monkfish could do that?
💛The marinated crab I usually don’t go crazy for marinated crab, but this one? I was licking the plate like I hadn’t eaten in a week. The sauce is THAT good. If you’re not a fan of crab yet, this dish will convert you.
For my fellow carnivores:
💛Dishes Combo is basically a meat feast that will make your carnivorous heart sing. 💛Braise beef short ribs
The meat is tender and melting your heat
💛Octopus Hot-Stone Bibimbap is a must. The sizzling stone pot, tender octopus, and perfectly mixed rice? It’s happiness in every bite until you Finnish the last bite
💛 For noodle fans, the Hand-Pulled Dough Soup with Perilla Seed is like a Korean-Chinese fusion dream. The chewy dough pieces remind me of Chinese "mien geda," but the broth is next-level unique. It’s like comfort food with a surprise twist.
To top it all off, the owner and his son aee incredibly kind and friendly . During peak hours you might need a little patient but everything is worthy...

✨ What we ordered & loved: • Boiled Pork Slices (白切肉) – Absolutely the star of the night! Tender, flavorful, no gamey pork taste at all, and perfectly paired with the pickled radish strips. Everyone at our table loved it. Next time, we’ll definitely order a large portion instead of the small set. • Braised Beef Short Ribs (炖牛骨) – Melt-in-your-mouth soft, rich, and comforting. Delicious, though we all agreed the pork slices won the night. • Grilled Mackerel (烤鲭鱼) – Juicy, crispy, and full of flavor. One of the best versions I’ve had; easily a top dish here. • Ginseng Chicken Soup (参鸡汤) – Light yet flavorful, very fresh, and surprisingly good for a dish that’s usually quite simple. It impressed everyone at the table.
🍽 Service: Excellent! The staff took care of everything—cutting meat, deboning the fish, even keeping the table organized—so we could just relax and enjoy the meal. Super attentive and efficient even though the restaurant was busy.
👀 Notes: We didn’t get to try the marinated raw crab (酱蟹) this time, but it looked amazing at other tables. Definitely coming back for that. We arrived around 6 PM on a Saturday and there was already a line forming, but the wait was only about 10–15 minutes.
📖 The menu is large and varied, with lots of tempting dishes. This is hands-down one of the best new Korean spots I’ve tried recently. Highly recommend, and I’ll be back with a bigger...
Read moreThis Korean auntie’s homestyle restaurant is just so good! It seems like it’s been open for quite a while, but how did I only just find out about it now? The moment I walked in and saw several Korean families already seated, I knew this place had to be the real deal. One bowl of dried napa cabbage short rib soup had me completely hooked. In Cantonese cuisine there’s also a dried veggie soup that I really love, so I’ve always had a thing for dishes with dried greens. The Korean version is different, but just as delicious. It came with three big chunks of short ribs and loads of vegetables! The broth looked plain at first but was actually so flavorful with a nice kick of spice—perfect with rice. The Korean grilled short ribs with cheese were another classic. The server even helped remove the bones, then topped it with a thick layer of melted cheese. The beef was so well marinated and tasty, and the pumpkin and rice cakes inside soaked up all the essence of the sauce. My two kids were fighting over it! The seafood soft tofu stew was overflowing with ingredients. The broth was rich, fresh, and honestly blew the nearby chain tofu place out of the water. The fried cod was well-seasoned and really good with rice. On its own it can feel a bit salty, but the meat was thick and meaty. It had big bones but no small ones, so it was easy to eat. Definitely another great rice side dish. I can’t believe such a gem was so close to home all along. From now on, this place is officially my go-to...
