La Cantera Resort & Spa 🏞️✨

My first impression arriving at the resort was smooth and welcoming! The valet drop-off is conveniently located right outside the entrance 🚗💫. The bell staff (5/5) promptly loaded our luggage onto a hotel cart with a smile 😊. The valet attendant greeted me warmly and asked whether I preferred valet or self-parking before taking my keys. I chose self-parking 🅿️. He kindly informed me I had 15 minutes to move my car — fair but a bit tight ⏳ (3.5/5). Check-in was a breeze! The front desk and concierge were super friendly 🤗. An early check-in before 4 PM cost a $50 fee + $9.72 tax 💰. Pool wristbands are required for access 🏊♀️🎟️. The resort features both family and adult pools with varying hours, plus cabana rentals and hot tubs 🌴💦. Our room offered a lovely pool view, two queen beds, and a spacious walk-in shower 🛏️🚿. I used the self-parking option at the golf course lot 🏌️♂️. Using the Metropolis parking app 📱, I scanned QR codes posted around the lot. Total for two days: $59.53 with in-and-out privileges — pretty reasonable! The resort boasts multiple dining options 🍽️. We tried: Henrietta’s Market 🛒: Affordable snacks, drinks, and ice cream 🍦. Their banana bread was okay (2.5/5) 🍌, and the sausage, egg & cheese croissant was a bit hard and over-toasted (3/5) 🥐. Primero Cantina 🌮: A fantastic Mexican restaurant with reasonable prices, quick seating, friendly staff, and beautiful poolside views (5/5)! We ordered the green chicken enchiladas and brisket tacos — both absolutely delicious (5/5) 🌯🔥. This is a truly amazing resort nestled atop a hill with its own highway exit — La Cantera Parkway 🛣️.
