🌟 LA Michelin One Star – Gucci Osteria

šŸŽ” Atmosphere: The vibe is totally Gucci—stylish and design-forward. Waitstaff wear leather aprons (a bit quirky but chic!). Tables are a bit close together; it can feel crowded when busy. šŸ«” House Starter: Four small bites representing Gucci Osteria locations in Tokyo, Seoul, Florence, and LA. Loved the LA lobster taco! Seoul’s rice cracker was subtle but harmoniously fused. 🄯 Breakfast at Gucci: An oversized, creative bagel—beautifully plated with a sense of ceremony. Essentially an elevated version of a salmon and black sesame bagel with caviar. Classic but not groundbreaking. šŸ„— Aromatica: A massive salad that surprised us when it arrived! Flavor-wise, it delivered—the balsamic reduction was perfectly balanced between sweet and tangy, one of the best dressings I’ve tried. Kale, spinach, arugula, and nuts made it fresh and floral with rich layers. šŸ¦€ Let’s Shellabrate: Butter-baked crab—succulent and not fishy at all. The claw was especially delicious. Rare to find crab this sweet in the US! Portion was small, but the taste was top-tier. 🄘 Truffle Risotto: Shockingly small portion—gone in two bites for a hungry diner. The risotto was okay but sauce felt heavy. You can add white truffle, but unless you’re a truffle lover, it’s skippable. 🐟 Halibut in Guazzetto: The fish was tender, and the broth was light yet aromatic. The veggies had a slight bitterness that didn’t fully blend with the dish. They brought bread later—a bit random, but tasty with olive oil! 🄩 Angus Beef Filet: Ordered medium rare, got more like medium. Still tender and delicious though. The black garlic sauce was just okay—check the menu in advance if that’s not your thing. šŸ§ Sapore di Sale: A refreshing winter-themed dessert. Smooth almond sorbet with lemon granita—balanced and perfect for cleansing the palate. šŸ® Groovy in the Grove: A festive dessert with chamomile-flavored cream puffs that melt in your mouth. Toasted pine nuts at the bottom gave it a holiday vibe (yes, even from the NYE menu!). The jam was slightly tart, balancing the sweetness. šŸ« House Dessert: Three mini desserts to finish—a Gucci-style ā€œCone,ā€ dark chocolate truffle, and passion fruit jelly. šŸ’° Price: Around $300 per person. āœ”ļø Worth a try / Might return (especially since they offer Ć  la carte!). #Gucci #LAMichelin #FineDining #Vibes #Gourmet #LosAngeles #AtmosphereDining #RestaurantRecs #DateNightSpot #MichelinExperience
