LA Nearby | O-iza Japanese Cuisine in Fresno, CA 🍣

On the way to Yosemite National Park, you’ll likely pass through Fresno—a popular pitstop for rest and meals. This time, I discovered O-iza, a mid-to-upscale Japanese restaurant located in the River Park Plaza. The menu is extensive, featuring both traditional sushi and sashimi, as well as creative Japanese-American fusion dishes. Everything looked so good, it was hard to choose! Here are some of our favorites: ❤️ Beef Bone Marrow with toasted brioche ❤️ Uni Udon Pasta ❤️ Surf and Turf Temaki – a giant hand roll with tempura shrimp and beef tartare (highly recommend! ) ❤️ A5 Hot-Rock – A5 Wagyu served on a sizzling stone, wrapped in lettuce and rice noodles 🍣 Their specialty rolls are a must-try—so many unique flavors! ❤️ King of the Sea – Truffle cream lobster roll topped with A5 Wagyu ❤️ Fujiyama – Avocado, mango, and salmon roll, each piece crowned with a tempura shrimp 🍤 ❤️ Salmon Spoon – Salmon topped with snow crab, mango, and avocado—light and refreshing There were so many more dishes we wanted to try—definitely coming back! The plaza also has plenty of shops and a movie theater, perfect for a stroll before or after your meal. 💵 Price: $50–$100 per person 📍 O-iza 190 E El Camino, Fresno, California #RestaurantRecommendation #VibeDining #HiddenGem #JapaneseCuisine #Sushi
