π Lacroix Restaurant at The Rittenhouse
π 210 W Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia, PA 19103 We ordered the tasting menu β $175 per person (without drinks). 1οΈβ£ Complimentary toast with butter β so good we asked for more ππ§! 2οΈβ£ Sunflower truffle potato crisp & super-thin sashimi β barely any fish, light on seasoning π . 5οΈβ£ Curry oyster with cherry tomato β Thai-inspired, decent after the earlier light bites. 6οΈβ£ Halibut with herbs β my favorite savory course! Bright and tangy ππΏ. 7οΈβ£ Roast pork with pickles β odd flavor, a bit fatty, couldnβt finish. 8οΈβ£ Chocolate ice cream & bergamot pistachio tart β dessert stole the show! π°β¨ The tart was fresh, nutty, and not too sweet. π Birthday perks: Complimentary tiramisu + handwritten card ποΈβ€οΈ. Staff wished us happy birthday multiple times β lovely service! π Magical moment: Right as the birthday cake arrived, we saw a double rainbow outside ππ β so special! π° Verdict: Tasting menu wasnβt worth it for us (menu changes often though). π‘ Tip: Try Γ la carte for dinner instead. Heard brunch is just okay. β Next time: Want to try their afternoon tea (requires phone booking). #LatestFoodPic #100RestaurantsChallenge #DinnerTonight #Philly #PhillyFood #PhillyEats
