LA's ktown new restruant--Danbi
🤎Honey Butter Chips Savory-sweet potato chips drizzled with honey butter sauce, reminiscent of condensed milk. A bit oily, but personally, I think it's great as a snack to go with drinks. 🤎Crudo The sauce tastes exactly like the spicy and sour sauce from the scallops at Tokki. I still prefer the original green sauce version from Tokki. 🤎 Tartare Not recommended. It comes with beef marrow, and the instructions are to mix the marrow with the tartare. However, the fat from the marrow solidifies when it comes into contact with the cold tartare, which is not very appetizing. The beef itself lacks flavor, and the seasoning is nothing special. 🤎Sliced Pork Jowl Recommended for those who enjoy pork belly when grilling. I personally think it's very good; the texture of the pork jowl is similar to thinly sliced pork belly, and it's very fragrant. Served with Korean chili sauce and scallion strips, which help to cut the richness. 🤎 Uni Bibimbap The uni rice is decent, made with locally sourced American uni, which is not very sweet. The rice is pre-seasoned with sweet soy sauce so it's not bland. It's topped with pickled radish (daikon) and nori, with marinated shrimp and uni on top. 💰95per person 📍Danbi 3465 W 6th St Suite 90-100, Los Angeles, CA 90020 #Danbi#Los Angeles #food diary ### name:Danbi address:3465 W 6th St Ste 0-100, Los Angeles, CA 90020 type: restruant ###
