Las Vegas · Chamon Japanese Cuisine

⭐⭐⭐ (Worth a Try) This spot specializes in Japanese rice balls, tempura, and seafood bowls, and has gained quite a bit of attention in Vegas. 🍙 Rice Balls (Onigiri): Their onigiri is seriously photogenic—beautifully shaped and colorfully presented. But honestly… the taste is just okay. Personally, I prefer Pullman’s onigiri, where the seaweed stays crunchy and the rice remains warm and fresh. 🍤 Tempura: You often hear people online saying Chamon’s tempura is “one of the most authentic Japanese-style tempura you can find in the U.S.” And it’s true—the batter isn’t too thick or greasy like typical American tempura, so it’s definitely better than most places here. But close to authentic Japanese tempura? I think there’s still a gap. 🦀 Seafood Rice Bowls: The uni rice and snow crab rice are fresh and enjoyable, but a whole bowl can get a bit heavy toward the end—better to share between two people. The restaurant is very small and often has a long line outside. If you have to wait too long, I don’t think it’s entirely worth it. #FoodJourney #VegasFood #LasVegas #LasVegasFood #JapaneseCuisine #LasVegasEats
