If you're really craving Shanghainese flavors, Noodle King (Deer Spring) is another option worth considering. The decor feels like a throwback to a traditional Chinese restaurant from twenty years ago. Located outside Chinatown, it attracts a relatively diverse crowd, and the menu reflects that — offering a little bit of everything from various Chinese regional cuisines. A few Shanghai-style dishes do stand out: 🍲 Vinegar-Glazed Fish Slices 🍖 Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs 🐟 Stir-Fried Eel Strips These are prepared in a fairly authentic way and are quite affordable.
