Las Vegas 🌴 A Foodie Trip Half Covered by Amex!

Took a pre-Thanksgiving weekend trip to Vegas — the moment I landed, I felt the city’s vibrant energy and glitzy charm ✨ Believe it or not, this was my first time walking around after dark in the U.S. in a long time… 🏙️ 🏨 Hotels 🌟 Hilton Resort A bit farther from the Strip (~15 min walk), but the hotel is newer and less crowded. Great if you prefer peace and quiet. ✔️ Yun Hua Palace restaurant downstairs ✔️ Parking: $21/day pass ✔️ Hilton Surpass Card: $50 quarterly hotel credit ✅ 🌟 Bellagio Superb location, but rooms felt small/dated and it was packed! Check-in took over 30 minutes 🥲 ✔️ Parking: $25/day pass ✔️ Amex Platinum: $300 credit (covers room + $60 breakfast + $100 dining) ⚠️ Food lines were painfully long even with credits… 🍽️ Food 🥩 Galpão Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse My #1 Brazilian steakhouse experience so far! Fast service, wide variety, high-quality cuts (mostly beef, not filler meats). 💰 ~$77 per person | ✅ Amex $100 dining credit applied! 🥩 Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace Self-proclaimed “world’s best buffet”… I’d say overrated and overpriced 😅 Booked for 7:30 PM via OpenTable, arrived 6:45 PM, didn’t get seated until 8 PM. Food was okay — not worth the hype or price. 🍳 Brunch at Sadelle’s (Bellagio) Beautiful setting + delicious food — but had to endure a 1-hour wait (Amex credit made it tolerable). 🥢 Chinese Food 1️⃣ Pot Master – New stir-fry spot near Chinatown. Tried a combo plate + three dishes. Busy at lunch but quick service. Nice break from all the meat-heavy meals! ~$20–30 per person. 2️⃣ Yun Noodles – Homestyle Lanzhou beef noodles 🍜 The signature beef noodle bowl can feed 2–3 people. Beef is self-serve (grab what you can in one handful — which is pretty much all that fits 😂). 🥤 Coca-Cola Store Went for the “Around the World” tray — 14 global Coke flavors. Worst? Italy’s soda — tasted like cheap alcohol + gasoline 😖 💰 Ended with a $20 slot machine loss 🎰 The casino floor was packed, but the luxury mall next door felt empty… Truly a case of “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” — especially your money 😅💸 #LasVegas #LasVegasTravel #AmexPerks #FoodieTrip #VegasEats 🍖🎲✨
