Las Vegas 🌴 A Foodie Trip with Amex Covering Half the Bill!

I flew into Vegas for an early Thanksgiving weekend getaway 🦃✨. The moment I landed, I felt the city's vibrant energy and dazzling glamour — and believe it or not, it was my first time walking around after dark since moving to the U.S.! 😅 🏨 Hotels 🌟 Hilton Resort A bit off the Strip — about a 15-minute walk to the main action 🚶♀️. But the hotel is new and quiet — perfect if you prefer a calmer stay. Yun Hua Gong restaurant is right downstairs 🥢. Parking: $21/day pass 💳 Hilton Surpass Card: $50 quarterly resort credit applied! 🌟 Bellagio Location is unbeatable 🎰 — but the rooms feel a bit dated and it’s always crowded. Check-in took over 30 minutes 😵. Parking: $25/day pass 💳 Amex Platinum: Used the $300 credit toward the room, $60 breakfast, and $100 dinner — but be prepared for long lines everywhere! 🍽️ Food & Drinks 🥩 Galpão Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse My TOP 1 Brazilian steakhouse so far! Fast service, wide variety, high-quality meats (mostly beef, not just chicken/bacon) 🥩🔥. Price: ~$77 per person 💳 Amex: $100 dining credit used ✅ 🥩 Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace Labeled the “world’s best buffet”? I’d say overrated and overpriced 😬. We reserved for 7:30 PM via OpenTable but didn’t get seated until 8 PM 🕗. Food was just okay — not worth the hype or price. 🍮 Brunch at Sadelle’s (Bellagio) Beautiful setting and delicious food 🥐🍳 — but we waited 1 hour to be seated. Worth it? Only thanks to the Amex credit! 💸 🥢 Chinese Food 1️⃣ Pot Master Near Chinatown — newly opened wok restaurant 🔥. We ordered a combo platter + three stir-fry dishes. Busy at lunch but service was quick! A nice break from all the heavy meats 🥬. Price: ~$20-30 per person 2️⃣ Yun Noodles Comfort in a bowl 🍜! The “Big Bowl Beef Noodles” can feed 2-3 people. You get to scoop your own beef — but only one handful (and the bowl only fits one handful anyway 😂). 🥤 Coca-Cola Store Tried the “Around the World” tray — 14 global Coke flavors! Worst one? Italy — tasted like cheap alcohol and gasoline 🇮🇹⛽️😖 🎰 Vegas Vibe & Final Thoughts Lost $20 to a slot machine — classic Vegas move 🎰💸 The malls next to the casinos are filled with luxury stores, but almost empty of shoppers 👗🛍️ As they say: “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” — especially your money! 😉 #LasVegasEats #AmexPerks #VegasOnABudget #FoodieReview #TravelVibes #Bellagio #HiltonStay
