Las Vegas All-You-Can-Eat Sushi Battle 🍣 NEKO vs SAKANA

Is it NEKO or SAKANA? Which one gives you more bang for your buck in 90 minutes? Before coming to Vegas, my social feed was flooded with posts saying: "You MUST try SAKANA!" But this time, we also tried NEKO ($23.95 lunch) — a local favorite. Both are Japanese AYCE spots with a 90-minute limit. And the result? Mind. Blown. 👉 Being viral doesn’t always mean better. The local gem truly delivered! 🏆 NEKO (Lunch: $23.95) Keywords: No wait, fast service, creative rolls, kid-approved 👍 We arrived around noon — no line, seated right away. In a city known for long queues, that’s a huge win! 📌 Highlights: Lisa Lisa Roll & Chanel Roll – so good we reordered instantly! Perfectly balanced flavors 🍣 Sashimi was fresh, rice held together well — not your typical cheap AYCE quality Repeat orders came out quickly, staff was efficient and friendly Mostly locals dining in — no noisy influencer crowd 😌 In a nutshell: Great value + consistent flavor + smooth experience = NEKO for the win! 🥈 SAKANA (All Day: $33.95) Keywords: 40-min wait even off-peak, limited ordering, slow service, just okay taste We had to try the internet famous spot. We arrived at 2:15 pm to avoid the rush — still waited 35–40 minutes. Thankfully, there was a Target next door to kill time 🛒 💸 Confusing kid’s policy: Ages 4–7 are charged the "all-day special" price — but kids can’t order from the all-day special menu. Still scratching my head over that one 🤷‍♀️ 🍣 The food: Uni and fresh shrimp were decent Baked mussels (pang) were okay Carpaccio was nothing special Overall, the sushi just didn’t stand up to NEKO’s — you taste the difference immediately 🐌 Service speed = major letdown: First order came out fast Second round? Felt invisible — took forever to flag down a server Extremely slow kitchen We spent more time waiting than eating in those 90 minutes. I literally drafted this post while waiting inside 😅 Felt more like: "Wait in line for the ‘gram" than "Enjoy amazing sushi" 🎯 Final Take: 👉 For great food, quick service, and real satisfaction → NEKO wins, no contest 👉 If you’re just in it for photos and the hype → Sakana works, but be ready to WAIT — for a table, for service, for food. #LasVegasFun #LasVegasGuide #LasVegasTravel #SushiBattle #AYCE #FoodReview #EatLikeALocal
