🍣 Las Vegas All-You-Can-Eat Sushi Showdown: NEKO vs. SAKANA 🍱

90 Minutes – Which One Is Really Worth It? Before coming to Vegas, my feed was flooded with posts saying “SAKANA is a must-eat in Vegas!” But this time, we also tried NEKO, recommended by locals — lunch is just $23.95. Both are Japanese AYCE spots with a 90-minute limit. And after trying both? I was shook. 👉 Being popular online ≠ actually delicious. The spot locals frequent is the real hidden gem. 🥇 NEKO (Lunch: $23.95) Keywords: No wait, fast service, creative rolls, my kid wanted to come back the next day! We arrived around 12 PM — no line, seated right away. In a city known for long waits, that’s a huge win. 📌 Highlights: Lisa Lisa Roll & Chanel Roll were so good we reordered instantly — perfectly balanced flavors 🌀 Sashimi was fresh, rice wasn’t falling apart — not your typical cheap AYCE quality Reorders came out quickly — staff was efficient and attentive Mostly locals dining — no noisy influencer vibe In a nutshell: NEKO = Great value + consistent flavor + smooth experience ✅ 🥈 SAKANA (All Day: $33.95) Keywords: 40-min wait during off-peak hours, limited ordering, slow service, average taste We had to try it because… well, said so. We went at 2:15 PM to avoid the lunch rush — still waited 35–40 minutes. Thankfully, there was a Target next door to kill time 🛒 💸 Confusing kid pricing: Ages 4–7 are charged the “kids all-day special” price — but they can’t order from the all-day special menu. Still scratching my head over that one. 🍣 Taste Review: Uni and fresh shrimp were decent Baked mussels (pang) were okay Carpaccio was just… meh Overall, the sushi flavor didn’t come close to NEKO — you can taste the difference 🕒 Speed (or lack thereof) was the real letdown: First order came out fast Second round? Servers acted like they didn’t see us 👀 Food took forever — we spent more time waiting than eating I literally wrote most of this review while sitting inside. Yeah, that slow. Felt more like: “Waiting in line to check off spot” — not “eating great sushi.” 🎯 Final Take: 👉 If you want great food, quick service, and a satisfying meal → NEKO wins, no contest. 👉 If you want photos, hype, and the “I’ve been there” badge → Sakana works, but be ready to: wait in line, wait for service, wait for food… you’ll be waiting a lot. #VegasEats #SushiBattle #AYCE #NEKOvsSAKANA #LasVegasFoodie #LocalGem
