Las Vegas Desserts | Little Cakes in Chinatown π§β¨
Our last meal in Vegas before flying out! We originally wanted breakfast buffet, but short on time, we searched for a grab-and-go spot and found this bakery hidden in Chinatown. Located on the second floor, the shop is tidy and cozy with a slightly artsy vibe π¨. All the bread and pastries are displayed on a large central table and along the aisles. I picked a few sweet buns and small cakes π§, while my husband went for savory options π₯, plus two drinks. The flavors really stood out β the cakes reminded me of the birthday cakes I loved as a child ππ! The sweet buns were lovely too β I tried a blueberry taro bun, which was unique and not something you see everywhere. My husband enjoyed his savory choice topped with meat and cheese β perfect for a quick breakfast. However, a small hiccup: that day, the shop seemed short-staffed. The guy helping us was new β he made my iced coffee but left the espresso grounds in π My first sip was like swallowing mudβ¦ I tried explaining, but he didnβt quite get it, so I switched to a taro milk tea π π₯€. Then, while packing the cakes, he couldnβt find a box and had to make calls β it took almost 10 minutes at the counter. I finally said, βDonβt worry, Iβll just eat it now!β ππ But hey β the new guy was doing his best, handling everything alone πͺ. The flavors here are solid, and Iβd still recommend it if youβre around Chinatown looking for a nice bakery stop!
