Disappointed and Disheartened
From the moment I stepped inside, I was met with a musty, almost suffocating atmosphere that immediately set the tone for the rest of the visit. The air felt stale, and the smell lingered unpleasantly—something between damp wood and forgotten leftovers.
Hoping the food would make up for the ambiance, I ordered the tiramisu, only to be let down again. It was bland and uninspired, completely missing the bold notes of coffee, cocoa, and amaretto that make this classic dessert shine. Instead, it was dominated by an unbalanced mascarpone flavor that overwhelmed rather than complemented.
The mango milk drink fared no better. It tasted cloyingly artificial, more like a watered-down syrup than anything remotely fresh or fruity. The cheap flavoring was hard to ignore, and any hint of real mango was buried beneath layers of synthetic sweetness.
The bakery section was just as disheartening—shelves filled with mass-produced-looking Asian baked goods, each sealed in noisy, suggestion-box-quality plastic. It gave the whole space a convenience store vibe rather than a welcoming café or bakery.
To top it all off, the ceiling appeared to be water-damaged, with visible spots that suggested rain might be seeping through. It added to the feeling of neglect that unfortunately seemed to permeate the entire experience.
In short, this place has potential, but right now, it’s buried under poor maintenance, underwhelming food, and an environment that makes it difficult to stay, let alone...
Read moreOk, get ready . What a gem of a place. Forget the competition. 89degrees? No more , just ehhh. The paris too just ehhh expensive too. Now crown bakery. Yes it's small. Yes you have to make an attempt to come a little early to get the items you want. But, it's worth it. Everything is fresh , tastey, ooooo so tastey. The selection mind you isn't small they have all the favorites. Like my custard bread so great. They have cakes that are great too and reasonabley priced. We were looking for a bakery such as this for a while now. I think we found it with crown bakery. Now to the part why I said it's a gem. The service is so friendly and welcoming. Love mom and pop places like this. That's why I support places like this wherever we can. Great bread, great service. It's the perfect combo. If they keep that combo together we are life long customers. Oh and when we went in as a family to check this place out they gave a macaroon to my youngest son. They didn't have too, they wanted too. Even if they didn't give a macaroon to my son we would have left completely happy and satisfied too. That's attention to customer service. So next time you want bread, bakery goods, cakes, go to crown bakery , they will not disappoint, In fact they will exceed your...
