Las Vegas Food β Beyond the Strip π½οΈ
π Umami β Japanese Sushi AYCE ~$30 per person. Wide variety of sushi and hand rolls, though sashimi options are limited. Some items are limited per person/table β recommend ordering those in the first round. The uni wasnβt super fresh when we went, but overall β great value for $30! π Kogi β Korean BBQ AYCE Also around $30 per person. Totally worth it! The tomahawk steak (limit one per table) alone makes it worthwhile. Beef tongue is thinly sliced. Veggie options are minimal β no lettuce. Perfect for carnivores only! π₯© π Yummy Rice (clay pot rice) + Somisomi (dessert) Both in Chinatown's Shanghai Plaza. Yummy Rice was a bit disappointing β uses an iron pot instead of clay, limited variety. Somisomi (common in CA, new to us East Coasters!) β so good! Toppings are self-serve and unlimited. π¦ π Big Dan Shanxi Taste β Xiβan Noodle House Found via Mike Chen β seriously delicious! We had liangpi (cold skin noodles) and stir-fried liangfen β first time trying the latter, so tasty! They also sell their own chili oil! πΆοΈ π PublicUs β American Breakfast Discovered via, located near Old Vegas β not the best area but always busy with locals. Breakfast options are plentiful, and they serve coffee cocktails β creative concept! The interior has real trees β very photogenic. π³πΈ As someone whoβs lived in Boston for 10 years, next Iβll share some Boston-area eats and activities! #Foodie #LasVegas #VegasTravel #OffStripEats #LocalFavorites #BudgetEats #BostonToVegas
