Le Lert | New Fusion Delights in the Downtown Core πŸ™οΈ

Can't wait a second longer to check out the new fusion cuisine place that just opened up near my home! ✨ Rawaeng Curry, Beef: The curry sauce is fragrant and authentic, but the beef isn't very flavorful, though it's decently pan-fried. It's a bit spicier than the usual green curry, more akin to a red curry; the eggplant in it is tasty. ✨ Tom Yum Paella: The rice is well-seasoned, but there are indistinguishable shrimp shell fragments and lemongrass fibers mixed in, which I personally find a bit off-putting; the seafood on top is passable. ✨ Lick the Bone: The spare ribs are spicier than expected, with a numbing and spicy flavor. I quite like the seasoning, but the ribs have a slight fishy taste, and the meat is a bit dry and tough to chew. A restaurant where the decor and presentation outshine the flavors, but nothing is unpalatable. The place is relatively spacious for being near College and Yonge. Doubt I'll be returning for a second visit. #TorontoLife #TorontoFoodExploration #TorontoEatsAndPlays #WhatToEatInToronto #DTRestaurants #TorontoEats #TorontoDTDining ### Name: Le Lert Address: 27 Carlton St., Toronto, ON M5B 1L2 Type: Restaurant ###
