Lee Valley Ice Centre in London - Exceptional Value for Money
I’ve been here about four or five times, and the overall experience has always been great. 😊 With an Olympic-sized rink, it’s just 10 pounds for public skating, plus an additional three pounds to rent skates. Each session lasts for two hours, followed by a half-hour clear ice, with multiple sessions throughout the day. If you time it right, you can skate for two hours without being disturbed (though seriously skating for an hour can be quite tiring), and it usually stays open until 10 pm. Sometimes there are events and it’s not open, so it’s a good idea to check the official website for information. 🕓 I really appreciate the venue; it’s super clean and very professional. On weekdays, it’s not too crowded, the rink is spacious, and the ice quality is great, providing good grip and stability for performing moves – it’s really enjoyable. On holidays and weekends, it gets quite busy, so you’ll need to be more cautious. 🌟 One fantastic feature is the convenience of purchasing tickets. You can buy them on the website or app anytime, and once you get there, just scan the code at the entrance. There are self-service one-pound coin lockers, and you get your pound back after use. If you forget to bring a pound, you can borrow one from the staff. 🛍️ The process from entering to leaving is straightforward, transparent, and efficient. There’s no unwanted selling of classes or any disturbance, allowing for an immersive skating experience. It’s perfect for those who are socially anxious or prefer to enjoy their alone time – very nice indeed. 😌 #FigureSkating #LondonSkatingRink #UnitedKingdom #LondonEntertainment #London
