🥢 LIC’s Jiang Nan – A Miss, Not a Hit

Long Island City’s Jiang Nan left us disappointed — mostly pre-made dishes with inconsistent flavors and awkward service. At around $100 per person, it’s not worth the trip. 🦆 Peking Duck (Half) Decent, though the skin lacked crispness. Overpriced but acceptable. 🐟 Crispy Eel Strips Overwhelmingly salty and sour, drenched in a sticky sauce — barely touched. 🐷 Pork Belly “Song Ban Zhu” Tender with tableside flame presentation, though portion was small. 🥗 Jellyfish in Vinegar Oddly disjointed — jellyfish tasted bland despite soaking in vinegar. 🍧 Desserts (Coconut Ice Jelly & Yogurt Fruit Bowl) The highlights! Refreshing and well-made. Service felt intrusive when staff questioned why we didn’t finish dishes. Better options exist in LIC — save your appetite (and budget) elsewhere. 📍 Jiang Nan – Long Island City, NYC 💰 ~$100 per person (could be $50–$60 with a larger group) #JiangNanLIC #LICFood #NYCEats #ChineseFood #Overpriced #NotWorthIt #NYCRestaurants #FoodieFail #NYCFoodie #SaveYourMoney #SkipThis
