Lille Recommendation | French Omakase

🌟How did I discover this place, you ask? It’s right downstairs from my home! I pass by it every day on my way to work. I used to find it odd that the restaurant’s windows were always covered up. Quite mysterious, isn’t it? Until one day, I saw the chef taking a smoke break outside. 🌟(My friend and I were talking, and she mentioned seeing this chef in a documentary. I immediately looked him up, and turns out, their menu only offers choices in price and number of courses.) Well, isn’t this the French version of omakase? I had to give it a try. So here I am tonight, but make sure to book in advance! The current menu is three courses for 41💶 and five courses for 55💶. 🌟(I forgot to take a photo of the menu posted outside, but I recommend going for the five courses.) The vegetable appetizer with a plum sauce left a savory aftertaste that was simply delightful. The fish course was a real surprise! The texture was so bouncy, almost like scallops! The sauce was soy-based, perfect for Asian tastes. The dessert with pear and chocolate mousse was a fantastic combination. After three hours of this feast, I was incredibly full! #France #Lille #FrenchCuisine #Omakase
