Linvilla Orchards | May Berries Falling into Spring Baskets

In the century-old orchard on the western outskirts of Philadelphia, spring is dripping honey along the strawberry rows. In May, the sunshine remembers to arrive before the morning mist clears, and the wicker baskets filled with not just fruits but also the morning light scented with earth. 馃Ш With two tickets, you get a cardboard box like the one in the picture. The staff said not to exceed the size of the box, but in reality, everyone just piled their peaches high up. We managed to fit 4 kg of peaches in our box! One interesting thing about the farm is their transportation! When we went out to pick, we rode in a pink tractor. On the way back, we had a tractor filled with straw. The atmosphere was perfect鈥攊t really felt like we were in the countryside! 馃搷 Location: 137 W Knowlton Rd, Media, PA 19063 馃殫 Transportation and Parking: By Car: Follow I-95 to Route 476, exit at Exit 1, drive along Baltimore Pike to Knowlton Rd. The free parking lot is located on the west side of the apple orchard. By Public Transit: Take SEPTA Trolley No. 101 to Middletown Station, then transfer to a taxi (about 10 minutes). 馃崜 May Picking List: Strawberries (early May to June) | Snow Peas (mid to late May) Early Raspberry Varieties (end of May) | Spinach and Kale (available until the end of May) Mulberries (beginning to ripen in late May) | Greenhouse Cherries (limited, reservation required for picking) #BerryPicking #StrawberryPicking #Let'sGoStrawberryPicking #Philadelphia #PhillyLife #NearPhiladelphia #StudyInNorthAmerica #PhillyTravel
