Listen up! This hidden gem of a manor near Cologne
Cologne, this metropolis on the Rhine River, is home to various beautiful manors~ Today, I visited a secluded paradise near Cologne, the Augustusburg and Falkenlust castles. Its architectural style is Rococo, and it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984. Walking through the Baroque gardens and tree-lined paths will lead you to another part of the manor, the hunting lodge. 🧭 Manor Guide 🟠 Take a train from Cologne city center to Brühl. The train ride takes only about 20 minutes, and the ticket price is around 10 euros. 🟠 After arriving at Brühl train station, you can choose to walk or take a local bus to the Augustusburg Palace. 🟠 After visiting the palace, taking a walk in the palace garden is also a great option. The symmetrical design and well-trimmed flower beds make you feel incredibly peaceful. There is also an avenue in the garden leading to the hunting lodge (Falkenlust). 🟠 Head to Max Emanuel Park, which is the green lung of Brühl, perfect for strolling and resting. The park also houses the Max Ernst Museum. 🍽️ Food: ☝️ Traditional German food, roasted pork knuckle ☝️ German sausage with sauerkraut ☝️ There are also many cafes in the town center where you can leisurely enjoy a cup of coffee 🧡🧡🧡 【If you wish for a more comfortable and convenient journey, you can opt for a car rental service🚙】👉 💁 Whether you're traveling from Cologne to Brühl or moving around Brühl town, a car rental can save you a lot of time and avoid the hassle of public transportation transfers~ #Germany #Cologne #RococoStyle #Europe #CologneCarRental #GermanyCarRental #Augustusburg #GreatPlaceToVisit
