Little Saigon in Philly🇻🇳 — Lives Up to Its Delicious Reputation! 🍜

💭 Little Saigon is exactly what it sounds like — a vibrant Vietnamese neighborhood packed with authentic gems. I visited two spots this time, and both were fantastic! 🏘️ Café Diem When I saw the owner only speaking Vietnamese, I knew it was gonna be good! Ordered Bún Bò Hué — spicy & sour beef noodle soup from Hue, with sliced beef, pork knuckle, and ham (first time trying ham in pho — peppery and delicious!). The noodles were round rice noodles, though I personally prefer flat ones. Also had Phở Bò Đặc Biệt — a classic beef pho with that heartwarming, comforting broth. Liked this one even more! Generous beef portions, super affordable — cash only though! 💸 🏘️ Ba Le Bakery A Vietnamese deli and bakery with tons of unique snacks I’d never seen before! Vietnamese rice rolls, spring rolls, sausages, baguettes🥖, pandan cakes… You can also order made-to-order bánh mì and coffee smoothies. Highly recommend the durian smoothie 🥛 — tastes like durian ice cream, rich and fragrant.
