Steam whole 🐟 and be amazed! 🌊 The fish is so fresh that I almost ran to the kitchen to ask where they got it from. It’s incredibly tender‼️ The seasoning is also perfect, a solid 100%! A whole huge steamed fish (there’s also a red-braised option) for just $34 is such a steal! The newly opened “Grandma’s House” nearby charges $48… Even a nitpicking southerner like me has to admit that the only flaws are minor: the butterfly cut of the fish isn’t as good as mine, and the chopped scallions could be finer, but that’s about it. I’d definitely come back just for this dish! 🍃 Dandan Noodles 💯 When it first arrived, the clean white appearance almost made me think it was a miss, but once I mixed the sauce at the bottom of the bowl, it was delicious!! The spiciness and numbing flavor are perfect, making me want another bowl. 🌆 Camphor Tea Duck The smoking process is spot on, and the aroma hits you as soon as it’s served. The meat is juicy and not dry at all. 🌺 Hong Kong-style Lamb Ribs Actually, it’s more like the “Sheltered Harbor” style, and it’s just as good as expected. 🌇 Spicy Pig’s Feet This dish is also very tasty, just as it should be. 🌿 Crab Meat Fried Rice The portion is very generous, but it’s a bit dry. We took it home and added some moisture to make it better. 😂 It’s not easy to visit Williamsburg, but there’s so much to explore nearby: La Bicyclette Bakery is famous for its pastries and 🥖. Devocion’s flagship store is just around the corner, with a vibe that’s truly unique. The quality here is much better than at the branches.
